DISC Personality Training
Do you sometimes find yourself thinking of a coworker,“How could they do that?”
Whether in frustration or admiration, your reaction reflects our widespread fascination with individual differences.

DISC is one of the most popular personality tests in the world and thousands of companies use these assessments every year. So what is DISC and how can it make a difference to your team?
What is DISC Theory?
In 1928, psychologist Dr. William Moulton Marston published the book, ‘The Emotions of Normal People’ developing what we know and use today as the DISC Personality System. The system centres on four different behavioural traits: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Compliance and ultimately went on to be validated during his studies at Harvard University.

Today, this system is one of the most widely used for business applications worldwide. Increasingly the preferred profiling tool within organisations, primarily due to how quick and easy DISC is to implement and understand, the lasting impression it leaves, as well as its many direct applications when compared to other profiling tools such as MBTI.
Why use DISC ?
Whilst there are many different types of personality profiles, after completing and reviewing most, we find DISC is by far the easiest to implement and recall across organisations. It’s sufficiently complex, yet practical enough to implement in order to improve the communication and effectiveness of businesses across the World.
Here are some of the top line benefits from using DISC training in your organisation.
Raised
Self-awareness
Constructive change begins with self-knowledge. DISC profiles show you how you respond to conflict, what motivates you or stresses you out, and how you solve problems.
Develop stronger sales skills
DISC profiles can also help improve your effectiveness in sales situations. Understanding and adapting to your customers’ styles is essential for connecting on a human level and seeing each other "eye to eye."
Improve
Teamwork
Teams are where things get done in the modern workplace. DISC profiles teach you how to improve communication and understanding between team members.
Manage more effectively
Leaders become more naturally effective when they understand the dispositions and preferred working styles of their employees and other team members.
Make conflict more productive
DISC profiles can turn conflict into a positive, productive exercise that helps your organization move forward boldly.
Train without judgment
No one likes to be judged. DiSC profiles level the playing field by giving trainers and trainees the non-judgmental information they need to train more effectively.
